Working at Stan’s

We have a safety consultant on retainer to ensure that we meet all ISNet World and OSHA requirements. Our operators are NCCER Certified in Excavating and Backfilling as well as LPG Abnormal Operating Conditions and Probing. Stan’s also randomly drug tests to ensure the safety of our employees which is performed by a drug testing consortium.

We have a brilliant administrative staff who strives to utilize current technology in both accounting and project management. In maintaining the technological advancements, Stan’s Airboat uses an IT specialist, as well as the expertise of a Certified Public Accountant, who specializes in the growth of small businesses, for quality control of our accounting practices.

Timeline

In 2005, Stan purchases his first Wilson Mini Marsh excavator. His work consisted of digging hunting trails and doing reclamation work on abandoned oil well sites, and business was busy enough to add a second and larger marsh buggy.

In 2005, following the destruction that Hurricane Rita brought to the area, Stan’s buys its third marsh excavator.

In 2007, Stanley sells Stan’s Airboat and Marsh Excavator Service to Tommy and Liz Todd. A long time farmer and a contractor of metal structures (as well as an avid hunter and fisherman), Tommy undoubtedly knew the business would be a perfect fit for his personality.

In April of 2008, his wife Liz then joins the team.
